Using technology, Enterprise for Youth in Agriculture offers unemployed women and youths training in Olericulture (vegetable cultivation )
1000 students will be accepted into the initiative on a quarterly basis, and they will be divided into groups of 50. There will be 4 admissions per year, so:
Annual enrollment is 4000.
1,000 students are admitted in a batch each quarter.
Each batch has 20 groups.
An organization has 50 team members.

Scholarship Details:
Greenhouse Farming; Using this technology, gardeners may regulate both biotic and abiotic elements, making it a climate-smart growing technique.
Soilless farming (hydroponics); is a technique for producing that does not rely on soil and enables growers to produce all year long, regardless of the season.
ML & AI tools; These will be utilized to monitor the plants’ irrigation as well as the right combination of nutrients for the plants.
Integrated Pest Management; To achieve effective pest management, a combination of physical and biological control will be used throughout the project.
Scholarship Requirements:
You must be prepared for the following to be considered for the program;
You must be between the ages of 18 and 29 when you apply.
Sincere enthusiasm for olericulture
You must be in good physical and mental health to work with a team on the farm. Available for a 12-week physical training program.
Possibility of working and residing in the project’s proposed area (Awowo, Abeokuta, Ogun state)
You’ve never been convicted of a crime.
willingness to follow and uphold the project’s and its location’s norms and regulations
Scholarship Duration and Reward:
During their three months of instruction, students will receive a stipend. Three months of lodging are also given.
Learn how to establish and maintain greenhouses and hydroponics.
Earn salaries from their business starting in the fourth month of operation through produce sales.
Details on Working and Learning:
A group of 50 students share ownership of a three-plot hydroponic farm.
There will be a technical team (16), an agronomy team (12), a packaging/branding team (8), a logistics team (6), and an account/management team (8 in each group).
Learning:
The fundamentals of greenhouse setup will be taught to all pupils.
All students will receive instruction on how to build up a simple soilless farm.
The fundamentals of ML and AI will be taught to all students.
Every student will receive training in fundamental olericulture production.
For students to run the business on their own, they will also receive training depending on their units in technical, agronomy, etc.

Application and Selection:
The application portal includes a 3-minute video that introduces the project and an evaluation based on that information. This is done to make sure that the students are aware of the project’s requirements and are prepared to follow them through.
Preparing for an interview:
You will receive a link to a brief introduction video on soilless farming (hydroponics) technology after submitting your application successfully. Additionally, the video shows you how to build up a hydroponics system for usage at home.
