The University of Edinburgh is awarding twenty master’s scholarships specifically designed for part-time distance learning master’s programs. These scholarships cover full tuition fees for the normal duration of the program, providing a significant financial reprieve and enabling focused academic pursuits.
Scholarship Requirements:
To apply for the Edinburgh Global Online Scholarship, you must:
1. Be commencing any online part-time learning master’s program offered by the University in the 2024-2025 session.
2. Be a national and resident of one of the eligible countries.
3. Have already been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and have firmly accepted that offer or intend to do so.
The scholarship will be awarded based on academic merit and the strength of a personal statement. Priority will be given to those who have not had the opportunity to study at the master’s level previously.
Scholarship Duration and Reward 2024:
Each scholarship will cover full tuition fees and will be tenable for the normal duration of the program of study.

Applicants will be asked to include the following within their personal statement:
(a) The specific elements of this program that attracted you to the University of Edinburgh.
(b) Confirmation of how successful completion of this program will benefit your career and personal development.
(c) Explanation of how this will enable you to contribute to your community, region, or country.
Application Method (Step-by-Step):
To gain access to the Edinburgh Global Online Scholarship application system, applicants must do the following:
1. Apply for admission to one of the online programs at the University of Edinburgh. Note that, following the submission of an application for admission, it can take up to five working days for all system checks to be completed and for access to be granted.
2. Receive at least a conditional offer for admission before proceeding to apply for the scholarship.
3. Access the online scholarship application form located in EUCLID via MyEd, the web-based information portal.
