The 2024 Turkey Government Scholarship is a highly competitive, fully funded program that aims to support outstanding students and researchers pursuing studies at the premier universities in Turkey.
Scholarship Types: Undergraduate, Masters, PhD

Application Process and Criteria
Eligible Countries: International Students
To be eligible, applicants must meet specific criteria:
- Citizenship requirement: Only citizens from countries other than Turkey can apply.
- Not currently enrolled: Applicants should not be registered students in Turkish universities at the level of study they are applying for.
- Age restrictions: Different age limits apply for each degree level (Undergraduate, Master’s, Ph.D.).
Ineligible Groups
Certain groups, including Turkish citizens and those currently enrolled in Turkish university programs, are not eligible to apply.

- Create a personal account on the Türkiye Scholarships Application System.
- List your preferred university and program choices.
- Approve your application after reviewing all stages and required documents.
- Submit an original letter of intent detailing your preferences, expectations, and future goals.
- Upload all necessary documents, including identity proof, recent photograph, national exam results, diploma, transcript, and other specific requirements.
Required Documents
All candidates applying through the Türkiye Scholarship Application System (TBBS) must upload the following documents:
- Valid identity document (ID card or passport).
- Recent photograph.
- National exam results (if applicable).
- Diploma or temporary graduation certificate.
- Transcript.
- International exam results (if required by the chosen university or program).
- International language test results (if required by the chosen university or program).
- Research proposal and a written example (only for Ph.D. applications).
