Introduction
The Airbus’ Structures Test department is dedicated to advancing the understanding of material behavior under cryogenic temperatures necessary for hydrogen storage. Current methods for testing materials at cryogenic temperatures are limited. This project aims to innovate new approaches to utilize Digital Image Correlation (DIC) during cryogenic mechanical testing, enhancing instrumentation capabilities for testing future aircraft.

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold an undergraduate degree at 2.1 level (or Non-UK equivalent) in Engineering or a related science discipline.
- Meet Swansea University’s English Language proficiency requirements.
