The purpose of the Eastern Mediterranean University Postgraduate Scholarships is to equip the students with a high-level academic background as well as the necessary skills to be competent in the academic world, industry, or service sector.

Scholarship requirements:
Candidates for the Eastern Mediterranean University Postgraduate Scholarships must meet the following requirements:
1. Graduate from an undergraduate degree program with at least a 3.00 (out of 4) CGPA or an equivalent grade.
2. Having earned an undergraduate degree or its equivalent with a CGPA of 2.75 to 2.99 and an ALES score of 65 or above (for Turkish citizens), or having earned a graduate degree (master’s degree) with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 out of 4.00 or its equal.
Scholarship Duration and Reward:
For master’s programs and ten semesters for Ph.D. programs within the regular program length, respectively, the scholarship duration is four semesters.
The Departments may offer whole or partial scholarships to deserving applicants based on their evaluation.
Required Documents:
•An official transcript of every course studied at the undergraduate or graduate level. If the CGPA on the transcript is not greater than 4.00, a comparison mark/grade table.
•Copies of diplomas from universities or organizations that are comparable, such as a four-year bachelor’s degree, that have been attested. If these materials are not originally in English, English translations must be provided.
•A record of the results of the English and academic competence examinations. This is not applicable to programs where Turkish is the primary language of teaching. Native speakers should identify their country of citizenship and place of birth. All others must submit documentation from one of the English Proficiency Tests listed below.
•Three reference letter (not required for EMU graduates).

•Give details of any application(s) for a grant/scholarship that you have made (add documents).
•Statement of Purpose / Intention (Please submit on a separate sheet: Your purpose in applying to the program chosen, explaining your motivation as well as the areas of specialization which would be of interest to you within the discipline).
•A photocopy of your passport or I.D. card.
•A passport-sized (approx. 6 cm x 5 cm) photograph.

•Proposal (for PhD program applications)
