Program Overview The OKP offers scholarships for individuals from eligible countries to pursue Master’s degrees or Short Courses/Training in Dutch education institutions of their choice. Eligibility Criteria Applicants must meet specific criteria to be considered:
- Must be a professional and a national of one of the eligible countries.
- Should reside and work in an eligible country at the time of application.
- Must have an employer’s statement that complies with Nuffic’s provided format.
- Should not be employed by organizations with sufficient funds for staff development.
- Must possess a valid official passport that remains valid for at least three months after the registration form’s submission.
Selection Process The scholarship selection is highly competitive and targets motivated professionals who can apply their newly acquired skills in their employing organizations. The candidates are expected to make a positive impact with the knowledge gained during their studies.
Value of Award The OKP fellowship is designed to supplement the recipient’s salary during the study period in the Netherlands. The allowance covers living costs, tuition fees, travel, insurance, visas, and thesis research. Fellows are responsible for covering the difference between the actual costs and the provided KOP NFP allowances.
