Established in 2006, the Mo Ibrahim Foundation (MIF) is an African foundation with a singular focus on the critical importance of governance and leadership in Africa. The foundation firmly believes that governance and leadership are central to any meaningful and collective improvement in the quality of life for African citizens.
Leadership and Governance in Africa: Leadership involves making choices, defining priorities, and taking risks, while governance is about documenting and effectively implementing these choices. Africa has witnessed significant progress over the last decade.
