Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for this scholarship vary based on the applicant’s status:
International Students
- Must possess a non-R.O.C. nationality.
- Must meet the Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan (Ministry of Education) criteria.
Overseas Chinese Students (including students from Hong Kong or Macao)
- Refers to students of Chinese descent who have come to Taiwan to study.
- Must meet the Regulations Regarding Study and Counseling Assistance for Overseas Chinese Students in Taiwan (M.O.E.).
Mainland China Students
- Mainland Chinese applicants (PRC passport holders) must apply for admissions through the University Entrance Committee for Mainland Chinese Students.
Application Process
- Visit the Application Website, select either [Undergraduate Program] or [Master/Ph.D.], and register for a personal account.
- Agree to the terms of the application declaration.
- Upload all required documents and submit the application fee (applicable to School of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine applicants only).
- After completing the online application, upload scanned copies of the signed application form.
- Set up at least 2 respective referees for each program applied.
- Click the “Submit Application” button to complete the application.
Required Documents
Undergraduate Program
- Senior high school diploma acquired from an overseas senior high school or a foreign or bilingual school in Taiwan.
- Document of equivalent educational level recognized by M.O.E. and verified by R.O.C. representative office.
School of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher obtained from a university or an independent college recognized by M.O.E., verified by R.O.C. representative office.
- Certificate of “being enrolled via International Students Admission Channel in a bachelor’s degree program or higher” if applicable.
Master’s Program
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized university or independent college, verified by R.O.C. representative office.
- Certificate of “being enrolled via International Students Admission Channel in a bachelor’s degree program or higher” if applicable.
Ph.D. Program
- A Master’s degree or higher from a recognized university or independent college, verified by R.O.C. representative office.
- Certificate of “being enrolled via International Students Admission Channel in a bachelor’s degree program or higher” if applicable.
