Eligibility Requirements:
To be considered for the Lanzhou University President Scholarship, you must:
•Hold citizenship in a country other than the People’s Republic of China and maintain good health.
•Graduate from high school before reaching the age of 25 when applying for undergraduate programs.
•Obtain a bachelor’s degree before reaching the age of 35 when applying for master’s programs.
•Attain a master’s degree before reaching the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs.
Academic qualifications and Chinese language requirement:
•A certificate of HSK4 as all the programs are taught in Chinese.
•A minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent

- Scanned copies of transcripts. Chinese/English translation is required for texts other than Chinese and English. Prospective graduates can provide current transcripts when applying. After being admitted, you need to submit the complete transcripts upon registration.
- Scanned copy of passport homepage.
- Study plan/Research proposal.
- Letters of recommendation from at least two professors/associate professors.
- Certificate of no criminal record.
- Scanned copy of valid Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
- Scanned copy of valid HSK4 or above.
- Acceptance letter from a supervisor (if possible).
